THE EXPEDITION:

The Arctic Summits Expedition is a private self organised mountaineering expedition. It's objectives are the icy mountain ranges of East Greenland.

Dominik Rind und Georg Csak (both German Alpine Club) form the two men team. The expedition will advance as ski-expedition in alpine style. It will be conducted "by fair means" - without external support. All material will be carried in pulk-sleds or backpacks.

Compared to many other Greenland Expeditions we will be small in size, travelling very light and only taking the most essential equipment along.

"Something is ideal not if there is nothing to add,
but if there is nothing that can be left out."
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
